  • Are you tracing your ancestral roots? As part of our Burial List project, we’re excited to publish (June, 2026) a comprehensive list of Who’s Buried in the Cemetery by surname. Start your journey with St Patrick’s Cemetery there!

The Friends are currently working on:

  • Creating GPS coordinates to help families and historians find headstones more quickly

  • A project that will enable visitors to the cemetery to access key stories of those who “reside” in the grounds via QR codes. We’ll be launching our first “tour” at the upcoming Parramatta Open Day on Saturday 29 August.

  • A comprehensive Burial List with individuals’ details, GPS coordinates, links to stories and other facts, gathered from our own research and numerous sources. Available to anyone who joins the group for our nominal annual fee. Please contact Friends’ Secretary, Paul Carson for more details.
